Prince of Peace

There's a baby boy born
In Bethlehem town.
They call him the Prince of Peace.

No more let us hear
Drums of war,cries of fear.
No more let us see dark cruelty. No more.
'Cause a baby boy's born in Bethlehem town.
They call him the Prince of Peace.

It is time to forgive.
Free of hate, let us live.
Now we must all love our enemies. It's time.
'Cause a baby boy's born in Bethlehem town.
They call him the Prince of Peace.

Cycles of abuse,
Vengeful deeds and misuse;
Stop them all and heal the endless grief. Stop now.
'Cause a baby baby's born in Bethlehem town.
They call him the Prince of Peace.

Those walking in the night
Have seen the brightest light.
It's shining for peace.
There ev'ry warrior's boot
Thrown in the fire for fuel
Is burning for peace.

The prophets told us
A day is coming.
It's coming; the Day of Peace!

Weapons everywhere
Turned into plowshares.
Lambs with lions
Resting fearlessly. No fear.
'Cause a baby boy's born in Bethlehem town.
They call him the Prince of Peace.

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace.

home from the fries

don't you want to see with your own eyes?
i'm already home from the fries.
look at me, i'm singed.
look at me, i'm tinged
with the sweet smoke of a thousand lies.

never one to be a man who cries,
i'm already home from the fries.
listen now, i'll teach.
listen now, i'll reach
inside the hurt of a thousand whys.

do you know what brought me back?
i didn't want to say at first.
i didn't want the world to know
about my endless thirst.

here i am; it's sort of a surprise.
i'm already home from the fries.
older now, i'll stay.
older now, i'll pray
for the children of a thousand skies.
